GEOGRAPHY - OUR TRIP TO VALLADOLID (2/10/2016)

To arrived to Valladolid we did a trip in bus of one hour. When we arrived to Valladolid we walked from our bus station to the main square of Valladolid. When we were there our teachers gave us half an hour to walk around the centre of the city. After that we went to the most interesting part of the trip, a concert of classical contemporaneous music. The concert was very nice but some people didn't like it because they tough that the concert was boring. Then we had lunch in a small shopping centre.  My Friends in I thought that it was better had lunch in a restaurant, so we looked to a restaurant and we had lunch there. After that we went to Peñafiel, a very big village with one of the most beautiful castles of Castilla y León, and of course we saw it. The castle is more than 150 meters long. In the middle of the castle are the tower of the homage. That tower has three floors but we only can saw one. Then we went upstairs to saw the terrace of the tower. When we were there we can s

THE HIMALAYA The Himalaya is a mountain range located in the centre of Asia and it comprise four countries: Bhutan, India, Nepal and China. It`s a mountain landscape. The Himalaya is the highest mountain range in the Earth with ten of the fourteen picks of more than 8000 meters of altitude. It has also the highest mountain in the world, the Everest with 8848 meters of altitude. The Himalaya is located in the cold zone, and it´s a mountain landscape. The temperatures are very low. The precipitations are very heavies but in the mountains tops the precipitations are lower than in zones of less altitude, and that precipitations are in form of snow. In the Himalaya born some important rives like: the river Ganges, the river Indo or the river Yangtsé. This rivers are very important because in their riverbeds live 1.300.000 of persons.
